Misstating Financial Figures Nothing New to Mr. Bledsoe
This election isn't the first time Gene Bledsoe has misrepresented the facts regarding the city's expenditures in an effort to frighten people. Last year, he was the treasurer for a group that was against Ordinance 2903, and at a press conference he indicated that our legal budget for defending the ordinance was $700,000, when in reality, that was our entire legal budget and contained all the legal expenses for the city, and was almost double the actual budget relating to illegal immigration.He was corrected by Charles Cox, the city's award-winning Finance Director.
