Arrests of Illegal Immigrants Double in DFW
From today's DMN, new ICE fugutive operations teams more than doubled the aount of illegal immigrants in North Texas during the last fiscal year. Seems like a nice move forward for ICE. Bear in mind ICE is so overburdened they can't accept all the illegal immigrants turned over to them via the CAP program.
And this last week from the Austin American-Statesman: Half of all Foreign-born immigrants in Texas are illegal.

According to the article, half of the 3.5 million immigrants in the State of Texas are here illegally.

Please read your source material more carefully so you don't mislead your readers with false information -i.e. "According to the article, their are 3.5 million illegal immigrants in the State of Texas." from your blog. The first sentence of the Statesman article reads "Half of the nearly 3.5 million immigrants living in Texas are in the country illegally, the Center for Immigration Studies says in a report being released today." According to my arithmetic that means there are 1,750,000 undocumented immigrants living in Texas, not 3.5 million as you stated.
