FB Business News: Quebecor World Announces Deal with "The Econimist"

Did you know that the largest commercial printer in Texas is right here in Farmers Branch? It's the impressive Quebecor World, which is located at 4800 Spring Valley in a 423,000 square foot facility. They employ 425 people, and print popular magazines and catalogs, such a Us Weekly, Texas Highways, Brookstone, Macy's, Parade and Sears.

Today, at a ceremony attended by Dallas Mayor Tom Leppart and Farmers Branch Mayor Pro Tem Tim O'Hare, they announced their newest customer, The Economist.

The Economist is a weekly magazine offering comprehensive analysis of world events and global politics. Based in London, The Economist has been in publication since 1843, and has a world-wide print circulation of 1.2 million.

Quebecor World will print The Economist on their state-of-the-art printing and finishing equipment, and will distribute the magazine across the Southern United States.

Quebecor World is an excellent business here in Farmers Branch, one that enjoys world-wide exposure and respect. I am proud they call Farmers Branch home.

So pick up a copy of this week's Economist, and know that it was printed today in Farmers Branch.

I am happy to be known as a town that is completely up front about its stance to uphold the law.
